okay so i was going to do a top mount exhuast manifold with a T3/T4 or T61. well my friend has a topmount with a T3/T4 and he says that his hits the brake master cylinder? he has made this custom spacer with a tube in it and it looks like way too much work and i dont like the way it looks. have you guys heard of anything like that? and if so do you kno of any alternative to the spacer. Thanks for anything

If you buy a generic top mount manifold you will only be able to fit:s13 = .48 - .63 s14 = .48

I only know this from experience. These are tang. housing and if you go on-center you have to get something like a .58 so you don't hit the Tee off the valve cover. But you will not even get close to the BMC.

Why does it have to be top mount?

Sure, I just stated what you could use. Turbo's with a .48 or .63 a/r turbine housing if its an S13, and .48 for the s14. Which you can get either of those housing on the two turbo's you want. OR you can make your own log-stlyle manifold for less than $130 if you have a welder. I just showed this guy where to get all the stuff over in this thread zerothread/307227

Bottom mount OE Nissan utilizes a T2 flange.

so i go to pick up the mani and he tells me he couldnt weld it because the mani is too cheap and the welds wont stick. honestly i think he never gave it a try. I take it home and give it a few weld shots and it sticks. so either that guy is a f@g or im just a bad@ss beginner welder. but in the end i bought a peakboost manifold. so if anyone wants the ebay one lmk.

It'd have to be a custom manifold. Most are T2 flanged. I think what you meant is that you can get some T3 turbos in T2 form.
