Hey guys glad I found this site. I'm a new vert owner..no i haven't registered it here yet, but i will in the next day or so.

anyway i've had the car for about a month now and unknown to me at the time, the right cylinder for the top had snapped, so every time i put it up or down it was pushing with the left cylinder only. well this cause to much stress on one of the "brakets" on the left side of the top. well the link in the braket popped out and now my top on my left side won't pull tight anymore. i bypassed the pump and have been putting the top up and down my hand.

the bracket i'm talking about is in the first "bend" you get to coming back from the roof latch. the little piece about 2-3 inches that should stick forward when the top is closed, came out of the hole. and i have no idea how to fix it...if there is anyone near Atlanta that can look at it/fix it for me that would be awesome..or anyone that could just tell me how to fix it myself!

thanks guys..and i love the vert!!!

I'm not 100% sure what bracket you are talking about.. but if it's metal.. i'd try to get it welded back together..

If it were me... I'd find a local metal shop and see if someone can weld it back in place for you. I'm quite sure you can't buy a replacement for it... unless you find someone who's parting out a 'vert with a nice top frame... but that would be costly to ship the whole unit.

I'd just try to repair that bracket.. find someone with a welder and have them.

I hope it's not a moving bracket of some type.. that might make it harder..

Can you post a picture so that we can see it better?or email it to me, and I'll post it for your.

Hope we can help!
