Top installation

Is it pretty straight forward to install tops?Do they come with instructions?

I ordered mine from topsonline.com and I was wondering if it was easy to do it myself..

if its your first time it will take a whole day to install.....thats why i had some local place install it for me for 200.00. if i had the time i would have done it myself just to learn how to do it. if you need some help the guy at tops online is pretty knowledgable..you can call and ask him questions and he's always more than willing to take the time to answer them.

I thought about doing this but I think it will be easier just to take the factory piece off and start over from scratch.

The top and the window are separate parts. The top is 200 and the window is about 140.

Halo, you will get instructions on how to install the top in the box from topsonline.com. They photocopy the pages from the FSM supplement for 'verts. The pics aren't readable, but if you read it through 2 or 3 times, it becomes kinda' clear how to go about it.

I am thinking of installing my own top next month. I have the FSM supplement and the clear pics do help.

sorry i took so long to reply..the shop that installed it is actually a locla guy here in Salinas ca. if you are ever down here let me know and i'll give him a call to hook you up
