I'm trying to track em down. I don't know the technical term. It seems like it may be a universal part, it's not that complex.

I'm stretching my top by letting it get soaked and tightening the hooks, but I am to the point where I need to shorten the hooks so they don't bottom out.

One day I may get a new top and I don't wanna shorten them too much to the point where I can't use them on the new top.

Well for one, don't tighten the top that way, all your doing is smashing the rubber seal where the top sits on the windshield. Loosen up the front bow and pull your top tighter. There is a write up on it some where in here, search for it.

And if you really wanna stretch it for some reason... loosen those hooks all the way up then pull the top tight.. then do your little tighten thing. I just wouldn't do that to an old top. Not sure how it will handle it.

It has shrunk through the years, so I am trying to stretch it. It has worked a little, but not as much as I want.

I tried the proper way, but there isn't enough fabric.

who needs a top anyways Theres probably something better to use then water to stretch the fibers in the vert tops. They are made out of a tent like material I would try to hunt up some other solution to loosen the fibers before i did any cutting

I has been raining pretty hard here lately. I put it in the garage after 2 days in the rain (was supposed to snow) and it's still wet after more than 48 hours.
