The two holes should line up (somewhat) with the slots on the crossmember. You will need to widen the slot a little if I remember correctly.

And just bend the PS line down or replace it with a cooler. I'm going to do that this winter.

ahhh cool, hopefully motor goes, i think my twin downpipe clears too, once motor is dropped on just need to do IC piping and fix up the wiring on the haltech and load up basemap for rb25

I used the top hat motor mounts, but i used the McKinney transmission mount and driveshaft. We didn't really have any issues with it not fitting. If you ding the firewall like it says to it should fit just fine.

I just installed mine, and the transmission bracket was probably the best fitted part, hmm, haha.

I do have clearance problems with the steering column and sway bar and hood, hahaha.

I didn't widen the slots for the mounts maybe thats an issue?

don't get me started on TopHat . My advice, send them back and get the new SKYO stuff.

i used all mckinney mounts and drive shaft and had no problem with the install. however i have briken a motor mount from lauching at the track at 5000 rpm. mckinney did warranty the mount for me, and actually sent a pair of the to me.

the rb mounts will work in the ka, you just need to turn them around. left on the right and right on the left side, and the trans mount and btacket put in turned 180 degrees.

i used tophat mounts and they all fit perfectly (had to knock in firewall a bit, turbo downpipe is hitting the steering shaft tho.... just a lil harder to steer thats all) make sure your mounts are on right..... i kno the transmission mount you can use your old KA transmission rubber piece if you didnt get one on your rb

If you are using a rb20 trans you will have to cut the trans tunnel back a couple of inches. With all rb's you will have to drill more holes in the trans mount, widen the slot in the xmember..and I advise you to also weld the mounts to the xmember if you plan to make any real power .The isolators are JUNK....they are some china knock-offs that are wobbly and weak as hell(I snapped mine in half).I would take the mount and go to Advance auto parts and ask to go to the back and search until you find some like I did.I forgot the part number, but they are for a Volvo and are close to solid mounts..very solid and sturdy..anyway I hope this helped good luck!
