then you didnt put them in right. i've got a set of top hat mounts and after taking the time to adjust everything the motor sits in there just fine. you need to consider getting an o2 housing done, mine rubs but the steering doesnt bind. i've also got a fluidyne rad and there was still plenty of room for that. all in all im happy with the fit and finish and i came out about $700 cheaper than using mckinney mounts, this includes having a driveshaft made.
