Top gear position sensor on 91 5-speed transmission

I am putting a 90 ka24E 5-speed transmission into my 91 ka24de engine. I know that the E transmission is missing the Top gear position sensor(4th gear sensor), so I jsut want to make sure my car will run fine with the sensor unplugged. The computer won't get confused or anything? Thank you very much
