Anyone know anything about this? In my quest for an ECU option, I found this and I want to know what type of programming I can do with it. Also, is it laptop or Palm controllable?

Well, the Apex Power FC looks like a tuned ECU that you can change parameters. I thought that the only real thing that separated a stand alone and a factory ECU was the ability to change parameters. I don't give a frack how it does it, I just want control of my maps.

Kind of like the guy who you told me to ask about getting an ARC intercooler for me. Took the fawker 10 weeks to get here and he would not answer emails for like weeks.

ive seen some of their cars... they make some seriously badass civics and stuff. i didnt even know they did anything outside of honda though. for the price i would rather get 3 safcII's or even better (and i reccomend) thet safcII-sort of thing that also lets you control ignition maps... its cheaper too.. damn me for not shopping around!

I'm not big on piggy backs to be honest. I'd much rather see somebody with an ECU retune than a piggy back. Rechipping the CA ECU isn't hard and there are plenty of guys on here who can burn you chips.

there's nothing wrong with a piggy back to a point. if you're looking for 300+ whp then it would definitely be best to rechip or go standalone.

lucky for me im only looking for that at the crank!!

and ive got that "mystery swat ecu" in there so we'll see how i need to tune from there. the fact that it made 25whp and 30lb/ft of torque less than the stock ecu when in near-factory trim leads me to believe it might be tuned for near what ill have on my car soon.

but there are several people on the forum who can make you a chip for relatively little money. its definately your cheapest, safest and best option.
