I've been looking around for a top feed fuel rail for the DE that will accept dsm 450cc injectors. If I get a rail for these injectors, what other higher flow injectors can I use later?

Also, I saw a thread that said you can use a 4.6L mustang fuel rail.... Any comments on this?If the mustang rail will work, then I can get that and just pick up some domestic injectors with all the money I save.

Dont know much about the top feeds, but I do know the rail will cost you over $100 (unless you can fab your own).

Check out deatschwerks.com side feeds. They drop right in the stock rail, come in flow matched sets with flow charts, and the price is reasonable. Theyre alos a sponsor.

WDRacing tried the Mustang rail. I dont think he had much success with it. He hasnt posted a lot recently, but you can search for his posts to see his results. I think that rail would require some additional fabrication to mount it on the KA.

I have a Aeromotive rail for the 4.6 mustang installed right now, I bought a set though...lol. They were expensive but flow enough to support about 1000000 whp. The injector spacing is almost perfect, one of the injectors, the #1 or #4 I can't remember, will sit at a small slant, but mine never leaked. I run 50lbs of static fuel pressure and 20lbs of boost...er should I say ran, now I have a hole in the block.

I'm currently "deployed" sort of speak, so I haven't been able to post much. I'll be back in October.

You'll have to fabricate new mounts. I'd go with side feeds like IWannaS15 said. WD
