I'm currently searching for injectors that are compatible with the factory ecu, and keeping with the stock ecu I would like to find a set of high impedance injectors.

Fuel rail and mounting are going to be custom so thats not even the issue.

I would like to stay away from resistor boxes/packs.

Also would like go with something that lasts a while, even with the crappy fuel we are forced to use.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

GTR are top feed, no? Though I dunno if they're high or low impedance :/

GTR injectors are top feed and low impedance. You could use 2 ca18det resistor packs.

If you don't want to do that then you need to find some rx7 13b injectors.

All 1988 rx7 injectors are square plug, high impedance.N/A are 460cc and Turbo are 550cc.

89-91 are the same but have the oval shaped plugs.

Honda injectors, at least the ones found on this site, are high impedance with the correct plug to work with the factory wiring harness.

I have a set of 8 (9 actually) top feed s5 rx7 high imp cleaned and flow-tested injectors, and new seals. they are 550cc. Was going to use these on my VH but plans may have changed. make an offer. (but be aware that I paid good money for them)

What is the advantage of going to top feed injectors, other than ease of removing/changing the fuel rail?

Ease of access, reduced possibility of pinched o-rings, more 36lbs injectors readily available.

Also, every pic I've seen of early Nissan race V8's seem to be using/have used top feeds.

Ethanol Compliance, Cheaper than side feeds by far, easier to replace (although on the VH this is still a mute point since we need to pull the plenum), wider variety of sizes (240cc to 1600cc), did I mention they're cheaper?
