I plan on helping a friend out with rear brakes on his J30. What tools do I need to replace the pads and rotors?

14MM or 17MM for the slide pins?
16MM or 18MM for the mounting bracket bolts?

Pretty sure its a 12MM for the brake hose that connects to the caliper (if it needs a new one?)?

10mm 12mm 14mm 17mm 19mm 21mm will practically dismantle the entire car, from what I can tell there are no 16 or 18 mm anywhere

And a C-Clamp to push the piston back.
Be sure and loosen the brake fluid reservoir before pushing the piston back though.
