Took the family to Saugatuck for fireworks this evening. Had the chance to take a walk on the beach at sunset with the kids...and, snapped off this picture of the Q while I was there.

Sorry about the craptacular quality. My cell phone was the only camera available since my wife was using the good digicam to take the "important" pictures of the kids.

Not bad for a phone pic. You shoulda snatched the real camera. I love pics of Q's at the beach...

Nice wheels .

Decent pic for a camera phone, but I agree, you gotta get some digital camera time for the "other" kid.

I decided to take another pleasure cruise this afternoon. This time I made sure my wife remembered to take pics with the good camera.

Problem is that I forgot my Q. Anyway... pictures of my son and I on my new ride.

Taller by a long shot. In fact, it is almost taller than me (Wes, no short jokes!).

My neighbor rebuilds tractors for shows...and, he just finished this one. I'm no farmer, but certainly I can appreciate what he did. When he brought that thing home it didn't run at all and it looked like a heap of crap that someone left in a field for about 30 years. I believe he said the year on that one was 194X...so, its lookin pretty good for a 60 year old piece of machinery.

Ross,"Nothing runs like a Deere"! Lots of torque, no high end- lol! Did you get any time slips in the 1/4 mile ?

Lots of memories of those as a kid, although we had mainly Farmalls, Allis-Chalmers and Case tractors on our farm.

My brother just went to a tractor show in North Carolina where they had 500+ restored models of every make, pretty cool.

Guess everybody has their thing, it seems.

Paul

BTW, heading to Saugatuck this weekend, great little get away for 3 days or so!

Once you are in Saugatuck you are only about 30 minutes from me. email me (haleysdaddy @ comcast . net) and I will give you my cell #. If you are bored feel free to look me up....I'll probably be working, but if I'm not I would road trip down to Saugatuck to say howdy. I'm sure the kids wouldn't mind another walk on the beach.

BTW... did fireworks in South Haven tonight. Better fireworks, but the crowd was a little bit unruly. Not the familial atmoshpere we found in Saugatuck.

Ross,I don't know if I'll be able to hook up this time. I'll be in the minivan with the wife and kids, but if I get over that way in the Q, I'll be sure to hook up with you! Qs together.Paul
