93' 240sx. Entirely stock engine with 96,330 miles on it. Full interior, Kuhmo MX's 225/16/50's. Boosting .6 bar, approx. 8.7 psi.

Ran 13.6/13.7's all day. 2.3-2.5 60'. Best run was a 13.6 @ 105.5 with a 2.28 60'. I think that I might have damaged first gear because....it was starting to protest after a few launches and is now making supercharger noises in first and second. Oh well, gotta pay to play. Anyways, hoping to run better once I learn how to launch.

105.5mph...nice.

My heavy S14, at the same boost, runs a 13.5 @ 104.2 - I need to get mine down by a few ponds to get my trap speed over 105.

My original goal with my non-intercooled turbo setup was to do over 200rwhp and run a 100mph trap...did it easily.

Now I love where the car is, the power band, etc...but I want 105 traps. All that stands in my way is weight (S14 is heavy, but I'm also 6'4", 225...hehe).

Nice runs - Brian

those are some good numbers

i went to the track yesterday, i didn't do very good at all ran a 14.8 at 97 mph with 6psi, 60 ft was 2.3 not good 660 was 9.68. i look at your numbers and i just have to wonder what the hell. i did burn in first but i think i should do atleast better than a 14.8. alot of the people say that the track up here in wichita kansas runs slow. a buddy of mine who went to the track all the time was only runnin 14.1 all the time, he went to texas ran a 13.6 on his first run. i've only been up there once this year so i know that has something to do with me going so slow. i was bummed out cause i know my car is faster oh well

Car weighs 2600 pounds flat with full interior and a about 2 gallons of gas. Don't really know what to tell you guys, The car stock ran a 15.3 so maybe mine is a factory freak? I will hit lower ET's for ya'll. I will scan in my timeslip and some pics of my car too so no one questions it. And as for dyno numbers....ya I won't get into it but.....the sheet from GroundZero in Portland OR says 220 whp........

PS: Orion, I have followed your times/mods so closely, you are the inspiration for my kit, glad that I can finally run with you. :ylsuper

i dont question you at all. i think those times are very possible with your setup and decent/good driving. also being light liek that helps. i;ve prolly been close to 3000lbs wheni go to the track also wiht about 3/4 tanks of gas.

I made a swirl can, its just a resovoir that holds gas inline between the pump and the tank. It enables you to make 1/4 runs without cavitating the fuel pump. Fuel is heavy, always run as little as possble. Works good for road course events to, basically anything with alot of G's. Not a big secret, just somthing to do.

Also, put a toggle switch on the wire that goes to your alternator that excites the electric field. I haven't done this on the 240 yet, so I can't say what wire it is for sure, but without the field energized, the alternator will spin freely, which gives you ALOT less parasitic loss. I remove my power sreering belt and AC belt aswell when I'm drag racing. Every little bit helps. All of those tips have been dyno proven. I used to have dyno slips from my Skyline, but they've been deleted since. I'll try to get some when my car gets finished. We're looking at next Sunday. Then I'll finally be able to post up some 1320 times with the rest of you foos.

i wasn't questioning your numbers either, i was just wondering why i run so slow. i was running with a full tank of gas, and yes i'm sure the driver has a lot to do with it. i'm also running stock tires and susp. and an open diff which don't help. ofcoures a good track wouldn't hurt either lol
