(im at work so i cant add any pics/videos to this post yet)

first of all i just want to say the staff at atl motor speedway was very organized and you got plenty of test and tune runs before the actual elemination races. all summer they are doing friday night drag eliminations by car class. I was put in the "sport compact" class cause i am NA and have an engine v6 or lower. they had a "tunner" class but it was filled with FI cars. But once i got to saw the cars i was racing it was a pretty good bunch. Some 4 and 6 cylinder hondas, camaros, a g37S coupe, a 3.0L maxima, acura integra, a small v6 sport truck, ect.

I ended up winning the first round of eliminations with a great AWD lauch.. but i lost in the second round to a very fast stripped down civic with drag radials and a bad lauch (you have to see my two videos of the first and second rounds... they will be up at lunch time)

but basicly in the first round i was able to jump the guy calling the race and was off the line just as he dropped his hands... it was so close i almost scratched the race Then in the second round i hesitated thinking about how i almost scratched in the first round and lost...

OK now to the wierd part... my "slip" light kept staying on even though VDC was "off" but after just turing off my car and turing it back on it would be back to normal But then i realized the the VDC was getting confused cause when we pre staged for each race down pit lane we had to turn the car around by going up a banked turn right before pit road... so my G was slanted to the right like 75 degrees and making a right u-turn coming down the bank... then the slip light would just illuminate... so the large bank and incline put the vdc in fail safe... i guess cause of the gyro scope in our cars...

it only went to fail safe if i had to wait on the bank too long before i could turn around... as long as i was on level ground the slip light never stayed on and hasnt been on since friday... can anyone comfirm what i observed?

WHAT? a little confused. Well anyway, anytime you play around with the car, turn off the VDC as you dont want to confuse it or anything. Its there to keep the car on a straight path and maintain control. If the light stayed on after your playtime you may have popped something loose... Have the light checked at the dealer and see what the code is.

Same problem happened when I took my G drifting. I got the slip light on permanently until I restarted the car. I believe the sensors are still active even with VDC off. The major difference is that the sensor data isn't used to "correct" the car.

You should be fine.

Can't believe your title of the first video "G25x vs Acrua Integra". At least post the one where you lost as the G25X and the one where you win as the G35X

Looks like you had a blast. I wish they would do something like that around here...

Track = Fun

I love to race the 1/4 mile... it's so fun.

Take life a 1/4 mile at a time, you'll be just fine.
