Well after putting up with a moldy smell when I use defrost or the AC for a month and noticing that my car pulls left in both lanes, I took the car to the dealer today. The service guy kept asking me "does it pull left in BOTH lanes?" I assured him it does and that many Versa owners on here have stated the same. "But YOUR car pulls left in both lanes?" he question. Indeed it does. I asked if the cars are aligned when they get them at the dealer and he stated that they aren't but the manufacturer actually does the alignment. Anyway, I'm going to miss some work today on the account of this (no big deal really) as I need my car tonight and the shuttle service from to and from work isn't viable. Anyway, I'll let you know what they find.
Oh, and on a side note, it was kind of amusing to see one of the old guys who works in service department fumble with reverse on my car. He's one of the guys that puts a plastic cover over the seat and a paper floormat in the car. I saw them checking the lights and I kept seeing him move the stick back and forth between 1st and 2nd. Finally I poked my head in and said "Are you trying to find reverse?" He said "Yes." and seemed a bit embarassed after I pointed out the little lever. I actually had the same issue when I test drove the car. Anyway, this old guy and his older buddy are looking at my car and making comments like "Oooh, what's this one? A Versa? Pop the hood". They asked me about the engine and the mileage and so forth. I'm like a celebrity everytime I go there with my Versa. Must be hard for the dealer to get them in as I've only see 2 on the road aside from mine.
Anyway, I'll let you know what happens with my defrost stench and alignment.
Have a good day, fellow Versanites!
