After months of looking around for cars, i came across the 240sx, i was always interested in it, but never drove it. Today for the first time i drove one, and i have to admit i was rather impressed by it; the seats gave me fairly good support, the handling was wonderfull, the throttle response was excellent, and best of all the shifter was amazing, im not sure if it was a shift kit or not, but the throws were amazingly short, compared to my dads 3.5SE. On the flip side, i didnt really like the pedal position, or maybe i just wasnt used to it, but worst of all, the car had to deck, it was jacked........ So if i do end up buying the car, That is the first thing I will have to do.

yea, the clutch pedal is in a pretty bad spot, and there's not a lot of legroom. shifter is all right, but it's pretty damn big.

i like the pedal placement. now a first gen mr2 thats some horid pedal placement if you have a larger foot. it took a lot of getting used too indeed. as far the shifter goes just keep reminding yourself "it's not a 200sx shifter" thats one scary huge shifter. :batman

I haven't been in a mkI mr2, but I've driven my brother's mkII mr2 turbo several times and the clutch pedal is soo close to the rest pedal. The part where you rest your left foot on while cruising on the highway or whatever.

The mkI mr2 i drove was really wierd. The pedals were all really close together. I would go for the clutch and snag the brake or the dead pedal. i do wear wide shoes though so that did not help.
