I took my RB20 fastback to the nite races at PIR last night. The car was running like absolute ****. I had a clogged fuel filter so it wouldn't rev out. Shifting at 6k and spinning into third, I hit a 14.6@95mph. I changed the filter but my tail lights don't work and they wouldn't let me run again. Next time it sees the track will be at woodburn, during the day so tail lights won't get me kicked off and running decent.

id get your tail lights fixed, **** the track, safety first. I certainly don't want someone rear ending me, that's for damn sure.

I have brake lights but no running lights. When I wired up the R32 cluster, it blew the fuse for the tails, but it always blows it, so now I have to take it back out and rewire it so it works. I'll end up doing that today probably.

oh ok, i figured the brake lights were blown, which would be MAJORLY unsafe. one thing i dont understand, is why someone would want to use the 240 cluster. The mph is more convenient, but I'd rather have something that can read what my car can do, and not 110mph (i think that's what my 97 reads). Maybe someone could look into having a gauge face made to replace the kilometer skyline gauges with mph gauges. That way you get mph easy reading, but with nice speed readings. God knows no one buys an rb and only takes it up to 110, lol.

I like the KM speed reading better. That way I can have an excuse if and when I get pulled over(probably wouldn't work too well but we'll have to see). 110!?!?!?!?! Why would anyone need to go that fast, god knows I wouldn't do that:thinker

it's likely a DOT violation not to have MPH on your speedo, here your car has to have KPH on the gauge.

I am pretty sure Motorex does that for their cars (mph conv)... you could ask them.

How does your car feel in the bottom end? Mine is really sluggish now... but I am hoping it is b/c I have the stock 240 exhaust on it now!

they dont, cuz Craig Leiberman bought a skyline from them. I saw it in person and it had a kilometers reading. He even used to have a peice of paper with mph conversions taped next to it, lol.

What should the car be running in the quarter mile on stock settings and a lsd. I know night runs a 12.6 or around there. How about the rb20

It runs well now, so I'll take it back to the track on saturday if it's not raining. I'm hoping to get around a low 14 high 13 with my exact set up right now.

I went home recently and I heard that there is a guy down there with an rb25det in an S13 with mild modifications and he is running mid 11s. Just thought I'd throw that in...
