So me and couple buddies of mine went to Caesar's Head State Park and did some driving. The roads there were fun and steep at times, and the view was top notch. It was very quiet, not even the birds were chirping. However, the sound of bikers and other people touring the mountains in their cars was very common from time to time.

Since I brought my camera, I was the camera man... and I took A LOT of pictures... 438 to be exact.

Don't worry, I'm not going to post all 438 but here are some good ones:

The view:

On the top of the mountain:

Me riding shotgun in my friend's S14:

A hairpin turn we found that my friends wanted to drift around so this is us setting up and they are about to do their run:

My friends doing their thing:

My friend Brandon (Smurf13):

My friend Justin:

My friend Richard:

After a long day in the mountains we were starving so we went to Burger King to get our grub on:

Well, that's my spill for the day... have a great week folks!

Edit: Try to ignore all the typing errors, I went back and edited all the errors I saw. If I missed any sorry

Here is a video of my friends drifting:

Well we did manage to get one video, but my friend hasn't even taken it off his camera yet

I do have a ton load of pictures though (about 438 to be exact), but I didn't want to put them up and be a picture whore.

But I'm glad you like them, those were the first ever action shots I've taken with my Nikon, so they are not professional photographer quality but I'm impressed

Oh no definitely not the dragon... This one is closer to home. About 30 minutes or so from my house.

Dude, that outside lane looks like it was purpose-built to drift. Looks like fun.

cool pics...it's cool to see actual people drifting instead of just race teams with unlimited money and cars covered in stickers!

We didn't actually... but we waited when people weren't coming...

There were all kinds of vehicles up there. I mean cars, minivans, UPS vans, semi-trucks.

But there was little to no traffic up there, so don't worry... we were very responsible and cautious... Some people even stopped to watch haha

Ripping through traffic and high speed interstate racing is different than drifting through a few turns on a mountain...

hey infinitikid, you're very brave parking your G where you did, that's a high "traffic" turn, you obviously put good faith in your friends driving abilities... Awesome vids and pics, I'm a 240sx junkie you da man

lol thanks man, I actually parked my G there to show how hardcore I am and that I cheat death on a daily basis... haha j/k I'm actually a college student that likes cars, girls, and video games

But I trust their driving abilities, but believe it or not the white fastback spun out on his last run and he was a just a few inches away from my driver-side door when he stopped. I have pictures when he lost it but I stopped pressing the button on the camera as the "holy s***" sensor went off in my head, so I don't have any pictures to show how close he got...

Take a trip down past the Mason-Dixon and you'll get all the twisty roads you can handle...
