took a little trip today to Kings Dominion in VA. My daughter was in the Middle School Concert in the Parks competition. She performed at a school in the chorus, then they got to spend rest of day at KD.. Anyway, took the Hybrid and it performed very well considering it only has 700 miles on it. Here is a pic of the mpg/mph after the 264 mile trip. Maybe 20 miles were not on I95...

And a pic of the tint. Not a very good one. 35% all around....

crazy mpg's--awesome! how's the pickup? is it as quick as "they" claim? i realize it's only butt dyno, but driver's impressions are still semi-helpful but better if they can be backed up by numbers.

All hwy? Avg MPH 61mph. I was doing 70mph for 8 hours in my G coupe, and managed 31.7 mpg.

Seems to be the norm with our cars.

I've been able to manage 29.4mpg at 75-79mph for six hours along I-75. I kind of expected a bit better from the M35h! :gotme Were you using the control control feature or not?

^Eric, if you have an M45 I call B.S. on that, especially at the speeds you posted.

^^Amays you g37s ... "our cars" on this forum are V8 M45s & V6 M35s not G37 Coupes....

OP, that's great MPG numbers man.

:nono:

That's for real. I had the same reaction when I looked at screen and saw 29.4 too, though. I was using the regular cruise control (ICC is a piece of trash) and took the trip during the early morning between 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. There was barely any traffic and I only took the M45 off of cruise control once or twice on the highway during the entire six hours. My main speed was at 79, but I would fluctuate the speed down to 75 in more populated areas along 1-75 to avoid getting stopped by a police officer that might have been aside the road. I have never been able to get higher than 27mph since then, but I haven't taken any trips that have been that long either.

Lol... yeah, ok. That kind of MPG on an M45 is possible... but only going downhill the entire time and last time I checked, Florida is pretty flat. I dont like calling people out like this but I feel that a lot of people just say stuff to say stuff. Maybe you should re-check your numbers or something... the best MPG I've ever gotten on my M I think it was like 23. something and that was definitely not driving anywhere near 70 MPH. if you would've said 60 MPH, I would've kept my mouth shut but 75-79 MPH... come'on man!?!?!?

...and btw I only use regular cruise control as well.

Well I have no way to prove it because I never took a picture, but it's fine if you don't believe me..

I had the ICC on for a little bit, but most of it was through traffic and did not have on cruise. I was doing between 75-85 on the highway. And you all have to remember, it only has 700ish miles on the odo.. Still breaking in. I am happy so far. I would have maybe gotten 23-24 on the same trip with my M37....

Please let me know how the car has been for you... I've had the car for a week, already over a 1000 miles (added by dealer)...my first tank of gas averaged 22.1 mpg. Terrible to me. On the highway, I don't see numbers over 25 mpg. Something's got to be wrong, or is this average?
