Everyone is buying the GT32 these days...What are your thoughts on it? How much boost you running? And when does it spool up? Have you dyno'd it yet?

Plus I have a bunch of suspension, interior and brake stuff. As for WHP I have not made it to a dyno yet ....I expect it to be around 280-300 at around 10-11 psi. Also havent made it to the track yet. Hopefully I will get some more pics up and dyno and 1/4mile numers before the end of october.

When do you start hitting boost? When does full boost come on?

I have a very similar set-up, and I'm just waiting to finish the install. Getting a little excited and anxious to finish up and start driving....

Starts hitting boost at around the 2600 area...6psi at 3400-3500 rpm...10psi and up at 4200. When I was boost creeping I was hitting 16-17 psi by 5300 rpm. This is all when you straight floor the gas. Doesnt boost quite as fast if you ease into the throttle...but I guess thats all turbo cars. IMO the GT32 is one of the best turbos for the KA.

Im also running a thermal intake manifold gasket.

You have an exhaust leak somewhere.. That turbo should hit 10psi way before 4200rpm. I make 22psi by 3900rpm on a T3/T04E .63ar... Something is wrong.

If your car is tuned right, then the stock block can handle a decent amount of extra power...

haha yea I like it, I got the DC2 in the rear also.

Yea the AMSGT32 is a pretty nice turbo, I jusy wish they would come out with that manifold already...

So far its been working out great... no problems at all. I havent hooked up a wideband yet so I cant give you any #'s.
