Anyone else have a problem with legroom in their cars? I bought a 240sx to tweak with but I just realized there's no way I can fit in the car more or less sit it in comfortably. :( Maybe I can buy a racing seat and modify the bracket to move the seat further back?

Geez, how tall are you? I'm 6'1 and my best friend is 6'4 and neither of us has a prob, and he even has an S14 (even less room).

I'm 6'3" and I felt much more comfortable in my S14 than in 04 WRX I've test driven recently.

It's not just the legroom but my head rubs against the roof of the car. I'm too tall for my own good....6'10" and 320 lbs. :(

Do what I did, strip the carpet and sound deadening out. That is almost an inch from the floorboards to the top of the carpet, so your feet will sit farther down, then get a new steering wheel with like a 75mm spacer, then go to a machine shop and have them make you new mounts for your seat, or have them modify your old ones.

Also, you might want to think about getting some manual seatbelts from a non-US-spec S13 or an S14 because the belt that goes from the centerconsole area to the autobelt part is in the way of moving the seat back any farther. Removing it will make it possible to mount the seat back farther.

Damn....tall. I'm starting to think that you should do what they did for Hightower so he could drive the Yugo in Police Academy. Rip out the front seat and drive from the back seat. Though, the 240sx is rather short on headroom in the backseat. Oh well, back to the drawing boards...

6'2"

I have to sit bowlegged in my seat, I can't heel toe, and I can't use the ebrake correctly.

SmoothCriminal, maybe you should talk to the people that hook NBA players up with cars or something...

We actually did that for my buddy back in high school, but it was in a minivan. The guy is almost 7 feet tall

I have to sit slightly wide-legged in my Sentra, but in the end I can still sorta heel-toe (still learning that technique, actually teaching myself). I'm 6'3, 165, so... it makes it interesting... really long legs and decent'y large feet to... yeah, so I sorta feel your pain. Good luck man!

one thing you can do is adjust your pedals so theyr'e actually closer together

and instead of doing it Initial D, midget feet style...just use the sides of your foot...i do that in my cooper S to match revs

Now why the hell would you get a car that you can't fit into? What has America gone to?

Wow this thread makes me feel short. I am only 5'9" but I still can't situp straight in the back seat of my fastback. If memorey serves, there was more head room in the back of my old coupe but I am pretty sure there wasn't up front.
