So....Car is a 96 s14, se, fully loaded...Just went and picked it up yesterday andit didnt have a battery, so he threw a spare battery in there until mon when i can get a new one, but heres the problem.

When I turn on the radio.....and then try to do something else, ie turn on the air and then defrost or turning on the lights, the radio cuts off and the speakers pop

im thinking its the battery being too big and its giving too much power??? or what?

i know ive got a problem with the started wires i have to move them around sometimes to start it, and when the key is switched to acc there is a buzzing noise from the starter area

any suggestions?

not im getting a buzz from what sounds like my starter could it just be not enough power getting to the starter but too much to the electronics?like maybe a bad pos terminal to the starter?i had to move it around to get it started when i went to get the car

im going to get a battery Monday hopefully if will solve all my problems, the guy i got it from said that in cold the battery wont crank anything

ive been messing around with it, took off the tire so i could get to the starter better, banged the hell out of it, lolgiggled the wires around some more

there are some clips behind the battery i touched something there and the buzzing stopped, but then started again when i tried to start it. I un plugged those clips and still got a buzz,

does anybody know where the starter relay is located?
