Hello All!

I was hoping that somebody could please chime in with their opinion on the following:

I currently have JIC front and rear strut tower bars and Whiteline front and rear stabilizer bars. I was thinking about adding JSPEC front and rear ladder bars as well as the Nismo power bar. To top it all off, an Autopower roll bar is going in on the end of next month.

My question is: Is this too much lateral support? Can you have too much? I always seem to see people stop at front and rear strut and stabilizer bars and never get anything else. Is there something that I don't know?

Thanks for your input!

chassis flex is bad, make the car as rigid as possible so the suspension can do it's job consistently.

people stop with suspension due to time/money/personal reasons. while chassis flex is bad, for street applications it's not horrible. a stiffer chassis will give you more road feedback (ie you'll feel the bumps more and more) and some people don't want that. Just with my current suspension, I can always tell when I drive into the neighboring county as the roads get a lot worse :(

IMO, you can never have enough chassis support, and I too want to go the route that you're taking when I get the time/money

Ah tenkawa.............

You're way ahead of me in every other department though. I figure that suspension and brakes are more important than power so I'll spend whatever it takes to get those aspects right. I can't wait to replace all of the rear arms with adjustable units. Soon the only rubber bushings in the entire car will be the Nismo rear upright units!!
