OK I know that the gas level inside the carb is too high. I checked the sight glass window and can see the gas level is too high. But my truck is running good right now after I changed out the exhaust spark plugs

My truck was dying and trying to hesitate on me before I changed out the spark plugs

What type of problems can I expect with this problem?

My truck is a 1986 early model Z24 2 bll carb with four cylinder engine and two wheel drive with a 5 speed manual transmission. Nissan 720 Pick Up truck Long Bed with ST package.

I purchased the truck in Sept 1985 and the date of the truck manufacture is stamped on the drivers side door frame as Aug 1985.

Hi Glenn!

To my knowledge, the fuel level doesn't necessarily have to be below the top of the bowl sight glass.

If it's really bothering you, you can pull the cover, and check the float. It's pretty simple to adjust so that it closes the needle valve sooner.

However, if she's running good, I'd say drive on!

Thanks. That's what my mechanic said too. I guess I'll just live with it.

If it gets bothersome, or the truck starts acting up, we can walk you through the fix. :)

Glad you're here!

Thanks I appreciate your offer. I'm not very good at this stuff but I have done a few simple things. Tearing a carb apart is above my pay grade but I do what I have to do.
