hey this is my first post. i have been surfing this site for so long my eyes have been burning for the last 3 days. well, i cant find anyone w/ the setup i would like to build. so here goes....

cp pistons 87mm 9:1eagle rodsgreddy headgasket 1mmbc springs & retainersbc 264/264 camsall new gaskestsnew water pumpnew oil pumphks cams gearsnew timing chainpeak boost manifoldpeak boost down pipestock intake manifoldhavent decided on a turbo yet, debating on gt30r or gt35r

looking for a rock solid 450ish whp w/ the best throttle response possiblein a true daily driver

i have also been reading up on the hks f-con v ecu or the power fc

so far i have a greddy fmic , apexi 3" catback, megan 3" testpipe, z32 maf and motor wise i think thats it. what would be a good guess at what this setup could produce.... when i priced all these parts on enjuku it was just over $4600.00. does this sound right?

add another $1,000 for machine work....and why would you use he stock intake manifold when considering such large turbos? A greddy Pleanum would really let the motor scream at high rpms with a gt30r or the gt35r.

thats one of the things i was curious about all so. i read or heard the stock intake manifold could run in the 400hp range. and there has to be another brand of intake manifold out there right? besides the greddy or ebay ones

Ebay exhaust/intake manifolds are sketchy at best. I would definately fork out for trusted aftermarket names. Sounds doable at that price if you can do the labor or have a close friend you can bribe with beer

yeah with the money that i plan on investing in everything else i really wasnt planning on skimping elsewhere. im just trying to eliminate as many surprises as possible. just wanna know what else im missing and what would compliment what parts wise. i know i dont wanna end up like this guy that i know. he threw 7k into a gsr turbo build and he still has problems a year later. still untuned and i pull a car or so off the line and from a roll now. there are alot of people around here that end up that way and i just really wanna do it right the first time. so all info is truely welcome. btw, i own a gas station so i can definetly work out a deal w/ beer if anyone wants to help...
