I've been searching for hours, and I've found too many contradictory statements on the 5 lug S14 swap.Like a dumba$$, I bought a set of 300ZX wheels, and dropped some coin on new 205/55 and 245/45s for them before I picked up my first S14...only to find out it is 4 lug!!Now, I'm looking for the cheapest conversion, as I'm quickly running out of money...I don't really care about the Z32 brakes, I just want the 5 lug set-up and it appears I can simply use the Z32 hubs (front and rear) and they will bolt up to my '96 S14? I have a LOT of great junkyards around me, but havben't seen any S14s in them, but I can locate some 300ZXs.I already have a line on some Z32 front hub/spindles (don't need the spindles, correct?) THANKS!!

I just read somewhere about using brakes froma Q45 also, now is this just the braking hardware (calipers/rotors) or the hubs as well?

I could be mistaken, but the z32 front spindles are larger than the S14. New bearing hubs can be bought from the dealership for about $120 a piece. The Z32 rears are a direct bolt on. As for brake rotors, depending on your budget, 5 lug blanks can be bought at auto parts stores rather cheap. Save you some money on calipers, which I believe are the same on 4 and 5 lug cars. That should allow you to save up some money for bigger brakes down the line.

interested in the CHEAPEST conversion.I'm tryin to keep it under $200 TOTAL.I have NO interest in the 300 brake set-up, just the 5 lug conversion. If the 300 hub will bolt to the S14 spindle, I'm set!

Well, again, I am not certain about the Z32 front hubs bolting on. The front suspension on the Z is similar to the Q45, so if any of the salvage yards let you go in and play find you a Q45 and an S14 (doubtful) and do some research. I am fairly confident in saying neither the Z32 or the Q45 fronts will bolt on to the S14 spindle. You may want to check the classified section for a deal.

know I could get the entire front set-up from a Q45 both sides (spindle/hub/caliper/rotor) for like $120, hmmm....

Both the Z and the Q run shocks up front as opposed to the struts on an S chassis. They only share 1 mounting point that I can remember. Your best bet is gonna be the classifieds or hope you stumble on a pair of 5 lug hubs at a salvage yard. The rears are easy, the fronts will have to be more model specific.

Can I use ABS hubs with my NON-ABS car? Also, what ball joints are used with a Z32 spindle?

I was just searching on car-part (they automatically list cross-referenced parts) and they listed the Q45 rear hub the same as the 300ZX. Like I said, I know my fave local yard has a Q45 out there, and I can get those for like $20

yeah the q45 rear hub is the same as the z32 rear hub. the front you can get your hands on the s14 se 5 lug hub to complete the job.
