Yessir, I have my senior prom tonight. Kinda excited, kinda sad. I graduate high school two weeks from today!! Ahhh where has the time gone? I'm 18, I'm graduating, I'm going to my SENIOR PROM. Life is just flying by and there is no way to stop it. I need to go drive my 240 so I wont be going *too* fast, heheh.

In all honesty, congrats.I struggle with the in-mind argument as to whether I'm happy that my parents gave me an extra year to be older than everyone in my class (summer birthday), or annoyed that I'm not graduating next year, and am thus only halfway done with highschool.

Same here. Our school had our prom on saturday.. but why waste $100+ to go to some lame dance?...

I did, however, go to the AFTER-prom party lock-in at funplex(an arcade/party place). It cost $5... and all of the arcade games were free play all night from 12-6 AM. Me and a buddy went... and we played the initial d v2 arcade for literally 6 hours.... all for $5....

Junior here, and I decided not to go. I figured: Prom is supposed to be a special night, and I'd rather save it for my senior year. That, and I'm cheap. No $100 tux rental, $50 tickets, $60 dinner, and $45 portaits for me! Those will come next year...

Nah. A little pale isn't a big deal, especially if they have dark hair (but not gothy!). A lot of chicks look so fake whenever they're all tanned and highlighted and crap. Ick!
