For those of you who have no choice but to drive your S-Chassis or Z tomorrow, what do you guys do to prepare for winter? I placed 200 lbs of sand in the hatch on top of the axle and put some Rain-X De-icer windshield washer formula in. Normally I wouldn't drive but it's my first day at my new job tomorrow.

one winter I had a toyota pickup, then the next i had a rav4. having the 4x4 trucks was great. i just parked the 240.

last winter however i alternated between my s13 and a 91 celica all-trac. surprisingly i had better luck in the s13 though. got stuck in the alltrac a few times and never in the 240. i dont do anything special in the winter to the car. i just drive carefully and hope no one crashes into me. its the other people on the road that scare me.

hopefully my 240 survives this winter, its the only car I've got

I just keep my snow brush/scraper in the car, and have snow tires. I try drive really carefully and keep as much of a distance as possible from cars around me. I also power wash under the car around 3 times a week.
