Engine kit on ebay now for a decent price (starting bid around 600$ or so)

272 cams, cam gears, valve springs, 84mm pistons...and more...thought some one "going all out" might be interested

Yes good stuff... shame that the ebay seller does not infact own the items as they just finished auction an hour ago on yahoo auctions and didnt sell. And for what its worth... expect this troll to want more than $1,797.54US as thats just the price to pick them up here..

I am in agreeance here. Fortunately for me, I own similar parts and they were not cheap. His solid lifter does not come with shims and this could be a problem trying to find 'em. I'd be interested to see what the final price is. Nice equipment no doubt.

Shims are easy to get, they are about $10 each though (UK prices)

Lifters are the difficult things to find, there aren't any anywhere, Tomei don't have them in stock they are on back order and have been for months, I've been looking for some (worldwide) over the last 2 months.

If you read the auction, you will see that it will not sell for anywhere near $600. They just don't use reserve prices to negate the extra ebay fees. But they do end their auctions early when they don't think the product is going to sell. If you notice, they happen to encourage selling the item OFF ebay for a set price. Pretty crappy way to do business if you ask me.
