Im just looking for some feedback on either one. I love all of tomei products. I also know that greddy is good as well. Look at the two designs what do you think is better?

Tomei FTW, if you hit something with it, it will just dent because its sheet metal. The greddy one is cast aluminum so hit something with it and it will crack or explode. Either way don't hit anything with your oil pan...

Technically, you shouldn't hit the pan on anything with these two designs. They both are shorter in height than the factory steel pan. My Greddy sits above me cross member and the front sway bar, I'm not worried about hitting it on anything.

I've hit my oil pan before, it was pretty cool.

Just get the Tomei.

Have you looked into the Moroso pan as well? It's very similar to the Tomei design.

I've got the Greddy. I would think that it would stand up to more damage than the sheet metal. But if you hit the Greddy hard enough to bust it open.. the sheet metal would be destroyed as well. But that's just my opinion.

Dragon has a point, if you hit the Greddy so hard that it shatters, because cast aluminum doesn't really bend or crack, you're going to have issues with the sheet metal pan as well. Granted you can attempt to fix the sheet metal pan, but seeing that the Tomei is around $500m I'd rather pick up a Greddy and call it a day.

I have a Greddy and id rather have a sheet metal one. Greddy is a good design but what i dont like is that the drain plug for the pan can easily strip out the threads being cast aluminum. This goes for there intake manifold too. Theres at least 2-3 bolt holes on my greddy manifold that ive had to retap. I dont like not being able to have things tight.

I have hit my greddy oil pan a few times. HARD! Every cast fin is intact. Maby I'm just lucky? When I hit it I was like "I broke my $350 oil pan!" jumped out of my car, looked and it was all good! I have motor mounts that sit the motor lower that's why it happened. I'm about to install some nismo mounts for some more oil pan/downpipe clearance.

I think tomei/moroso would be the better choice.
