Tomei ka24de valve spring seat pressure

I run a 95 ka24de with S1 Wolf cams. I am in the middle of a overhaul and bought a set of Tomei ovel springs. Not only are they a couple mm shorter but the seat pressure is about 6 lbs lower than the stock springs that came out the engine. My question is does the seat pressure with these tomei springs make a difference or is that the way they are designed to work.
