I've searched but found no results, so wanna ask....

I was gonna buy the geddy 1.2 metal hg and the tomei 555cc injectors...

But the dealer over here doesnt bring them anymore and instead has got

Tomei 1.2 metal hg and Power enterprises 550cc injectors...so as i dont have a choice anymore...just wanted to ask wat do u guyz think...

the tomei gasket is ok,,,just wanna check out if anyone here is using the PE injectors...they fit on the stock rail and clamps straight to the stock injector harness !

Thoughts about the tomei gasket/power enterprises 550cc inj ???????

There was a thread on another forum from reputable people saying that the greddy headgasket was complete crap. I think you are doing just fine with the Tomei.

Power Enterprise make good injectors. You'll be fine with those. I'd stay clear of the greddy headgasket and be leaning towards the apexi.

Personally I have a Greddy headgasket, and had no problems with it. The sealing issues that some of the other people had with them is probably from them not torquing down the head tight enough. I doubt it'll make too much of a difference in the end, regardless of what brand if you're not torquing down the head enough.

No they pretty much determined the greddy HG is crap, has nothing to do with torquing.. This is from very reputable and knowledgeable guys that have built god knows how many high horsepower SR's.

which board or got a link? I'd like to see what problems those guys encountered.

edit: nm found it. It's strange that those guys are having problems. I had no problems with my headgasket.

before the rebuild (no problems then with the HG)stock everything, minus the arp head studs and greddy headgasket 86.0x1.2mm

Now (still rebuilding though)CP Pistons, arp head studs, and everything else that's sitting between the head and the block is stock minus the head gasket which is getting switched to a larger bore and thicker gasket. My guess is that they might not have prepped the block as well as they thought, possibly it wasn't as flat as it should have been, possibly didn't get all the old gasket off, or simply didn't torque the head down in the right order. I know alot of the FA guys are quite knowledgable, but personally never had any problems with the Greddy headgasket. I just made sure that the head and the block's mating surfaces were flatter than my ex-gf and it sealed just fine.

Beast, I got PE 550cc/min. They're fine. Actually they're made by Denso, a reputable OEM manufacturer for Toyota. They come with injector collars to hold the injector to the fuel rail. The problem I found:1. You have to splice in their electrical plugs.2. You have to grind off a bit of the plastic on the lower part of the injector. This can be done by a dremel.I myself was gonna go with Tomei (since it's plug and play, same electrical plugs as OEM SR20DET), but they were in short supply.
