Hi all!

As you all have probably noticed, they are for sale on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

But not being much of an expert on cams division, i need help from you guys, to help me chose what type/duration,degres,...etc., to chose.

I have [email protected], the car will not be driven daily, but just for some drift/drag play'n around... and for electronics, i'll use Apexi PFC.

Thanx in advance!Simon

Damn, .86 A/R on the turbo? How's the lag on that treating you?

Yea, I would think it'd be pretty laggy as well. My GT28RS w/.64 isn't too bad, but still more laggy than the SR t25 that I had on there before.

How many new cams have you ordered from Tomei recently? The last set I ordered took about 4 months to come in from Tomei as they do only batches now.

I was running a 0.7/0.86 housing on my CA18DET. With the larger exhaust wheel and 0.86 exhaust housing as well, it was a lag machine even in my 800kg datto.

http://www.turbobygarrett.com/...2.htm

I got a 0.64 housing fitted, and I'm much much happier with the turbo response. I need to get the turbo up in it's 16->25psi efficiency range. I'll be doing that after getting the cams fitted.

Your turbo isn't a bad selection, but the 0.86 housing is too large :-)

Hope my info helps. Can't help much with cams yet, as I'm going to try and start fitting my cams today.

From my experience with my GTR i will give you to recommendationsfor street use and response the 8.8mm 260deg lash for drag and out right hp (response and bottom end not so important)8.8mm 270deg lash

I have taken it your not going to convert to solid lifter etc?

my GTR runs the tomei poncams in a solid lifter 260deg 9.15mm lift (which you loose some of the lift due to clearances need for the solid lifters) and made 530rwhp on std internals with awesome throddle response, so i will be buying the 260 8.8mm for my s13 Silvia to complete in drift with.
