Sorry... but this sort of stuff ****s me to tears..

how can you sell something you dont already own?http://page19.auctions.yahoo.c...36647

holding them??? looks like youve maybe got 2 more day to grab them before someone else does...

I used to see this crap all the time is aus, people trying to profiteer from others.. buy the bloody things first, then add your 100% mark up... least your 50% down covers all your costs hey

and because it seems you cant read japanese, you should tell everybody they are solid type cams

goodluck with it

You ask me, there will be a price though, muhaha, cough cough! Wow, need a drink before going into my bond villian laugh.

Those are 272 by the way, 68x4 = 272. 66s would be 264, 64s would be 256.No such animal as a 268.

They don't look like they were ever in a motor but they have been in those boxes for a loooooooong time and likely gone through at least three people.

thanks TMS, Also for you who are bitching and moaning - Have you ever though I might know the seller in Japan ?? Huh?? I deal ALOT with Japanese garages, and I mean ALOT. Also My prices are in NZD - Now if you Convert the NZD to JPY Then you will see that I have not put a mark up what so ever.So grow up and chill the f*ck out.

Do some homework before Accusing people.

Thanks and enjoy your day

I read this topic when your price was in US dollars... But now changed to NZD? Was there a typo originally? Just curious...

Anyway good luck with the sale...

lol

nice edit of the price... it was in fact listed in USD otherwise how and why would I of come up with such a profit margin?? an honest person would have said they made a mistake on the price and changed it rather than accusing someone for being wrong. Youve sold me.

as for homework... your the one who missed the fact that they are solid, and not actually new... ffs it even says it in english! or didnt your "contact/middle man" tell you that?

and seeing you "deal"... Im sure some site sponsors would probably be pissed your dealing with out paying for sponsor ship.

Yes origionally i did put up a typo, But hey oh well mistakes happen. No My guy just said to me theres some 268 cams 8.8mm lift which he can supply to me. So TBH I thought it was a damn good deal. Maybe if i saw an auction it might be obvious that it does say used. I got sent pics saying new So I put them up for sale NEW.

And Read properly I said I deal with garages in japan, Ie I buy **** for my engine from japan. And Im just passing on a good deal So again I will say get your fact straight before accusing people.

thanks.

This thread is rapidly becoming interesting to me for all the wrong reasons. Seller, I am not accusing you of anything but I feel you have started badly with this. The mistakes in the nomenclature, both in the title and the body of the post (it still says "pistons"). The incorrect specs on the parts that had to be pointed out by Nis and myself. The fact that they are not actually in your hand at this moment. The magically changing currency type.

All these look very bad. I wouldn't say alarm bells are blaring but the warning lights are spinning and about to go into full blink. Please be very careful and very clear about the situation with these cams as you proceed. I would like another member to get them and for you to make a little profit for your trouble but I have to watch out for everyone's interest and we are dragging a fender on the guardrail at this point.

full understandable TMS - But I would like to point out that these are in Japan and i have never stated these are in my hands. I have sold things on these forums before at extremely good prices and everyone has been extremely happy with the items till this date.

And i wouldnt do anything to "piss" anyone off. I am a local silvia club administrator from where i am also. But hardly one does up any ca18det's hence why i list them here.

If I ever make any money its only if the shipping works out cheaper than what i calculate.

But thanks and i also see where your coming from.

How do you guys know it is the solid type cam?

As far as I can se only 9,25mm lift and upp need the solid lifters.

See here.http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003....html

I am looking for the Lash type 270 duration, 8,8mm lift Tomei cams for the CA18DET engine.

Sorry for my bad English, I am from Norway.

they were old tomei cams... produced before the marketing of pon and pro cams...

it said "solid type" in japanese.

They will soon appear on ebay as the "actual" buyer is a yahoo auction -> ebay dealer
