The problem with the wanders is certain ones will only race you if you are in a specific car, at a VERY secific time (meaing if you miss the right time, you'll never race him again), stuff like that. go to http://www.gamefaqs.com and read the game faq on the game, it's all expalined in detail. I can't believe people actually sit around and make these sorts of documents. oh well, better for us

i have the game for ps2 and i have beat 1/2 the wanders. i don't think you have to beat the wanders to get to the last guy. i'm not sure since i haven't beat the game. nick

Who was the final guy? its been so long, its not the king skyline guy or the demonic looking skyline is it? I beat him but it was soo long ago I dont rem who it was. All I remember is that is was crazy and I think I got lucky / smashed him up good...

Some people just change the clock on the PS2 to get around the some of the time requirements. I can't wait for Tokyo Extreme racer Zero One. It's the sequel to the first one, I played the demo in Japan at the Auto Salon, the graphics and controls seemed alot better. I don't know if it's coming to this country though

when you use the wanderer guide it's easy, but it takes a long time to race the 2nd to last guy. i've got 2 people left but i'm still 100 days short of being able to race him. make sure you use the same car as much as possible, theres extra mods when you have 18xx miles, or something like that. i did that and raced a really fast guy on the straight part, but the faqs said to race on tight roads. i killed him because my car does over 250 easy.

To the guy with xxx miles left, if you win a race and dont hit anything it will auto pilot, and just walk away. Come back later and check on it.

I do rem doing that for who knows how many miles.

Yeah, I had that game fort about 2 weeks and beat it using the guide. A good 17 dollars i spent on it. My fastest car was the blue skyline thatyou got halfway through. The controls arent that good, the AI is horrible, and theycould have used more game modes, and actually got the liscences to the cars. Its easy to know ahtkind of car it is because of the body,and they give you the chassis codes. I would like to see a new one come out. Which this thread made me remember something about a game i would want, i will make a thread on it.

1 racer besides the final boss-ish dude left for me. I'm too lazy to do it though, I haven't played to beat it in months. All I use is my R34 GT-R modded out (cept I can't stand the 7th spoiler, too ugly, so I added a little weight and put on the one that looks like the one from the 400R) anyway, which means I had to go and buy a bunch of cars I didn't want to get the wanderers, which sucked, oh well. It's a fun game, but you have to be in the mood. As far as the clock, just fool it.

Yeah, after the first few days of just playing it, the novelty of it wears off. its just the same gameplay, all day, every day. eventually, with the money ihad, i went out and bought all of the cars, and some of the wanderers cars and got a kit and exhaust for each one to see what it would look like.

Kit and exhaust... ooo! Fast! I've bought a ton of cars and completely redone them. I got really bored and made my own F&F Civic because I could, minus the neon. I've done a lot of fun things in that game, it's just boring as far as gameplay after a while, and it needs more realistic physics.

ive beaten it. my advice. go to gamefaqs.com and download the wanderer FAQ.

without it you will never be able to figure out how to get some of the wanders to race.

BTW the last guys car is the only car in the game that can exceed 263mph. when i raced him i was at 263mph on wangan for almost its entire length and he was tapping my rear bumper the entire race. it was a long race but actually easier than white charisma since by that time i had 1258hp in my 2800lb RKK skyline.

do you know the mileage trick?

a lot of people dont realize that when you put 1860 miles on a car you get the final set of upgrades for that car (you have to go to the parts shop they dont show up on the end of night screen).

fastest way to get those miles is to take the car you want to do this to (i recommend the RKK skyline aka speed kings car) run flat out down wangan and yokohane and make a complete loop. this will put around 70 miles on your car in about 15 min after about 70 miles there is nothing left in the engine so you should call it a night.

if you dont want to do that start a night race someone and after the race win or lose you will end up on autopilot. just leave it on autopilot and walk away. its slower but you dont have to be there so you can just walk away.

there are plenty of nissans in the game. there are lots of silvias and a fair number of skylines, heck even some old z cars. its actually heavily biased towards nissans in terms of performance. a built up skyline is untouchable on long straight sections. and a lancer avo is just about untouchable on the curvy sections.

i have beaten speed king (probably the hardest of the bosses as you dont have that much power at the time) with a R34 skyline, R32 skyline, lancer evo 4, lancer evo 6, lancer evo 7, and an FD3 RX7 RS. my next goal is to beat him in an S15 silvia. BTW dont even try it in a mk IV supra, the supras suck in this game they trail the skylines by over 200+hp at higher mod levels and they weigh just as much.

ive only been able to beat white charisma in the RKK skyline.

so far as the cars the bosses drive.

speed king: the RKK skyline (basicly a JGTC skyline - its the best car in the game)

white charisma: a 3 rotor RX7 fast but hard to control

the last guy: 280Z with 1100hp very fast but near impossible to control.

what i like aobut TRX0

lots of cars and some of the wanderers can be quite challenging due to the type of car you have to race them in(like jet skater who drives a Z32 and you have to race him in a 240Z)

what i dont like

the music sucks.

cars do not drive realisticly

that damn 263mph limit

computer drivers cant corner for **** so there is little challange in curvy sections provided you can corner well.
