tokico shocks

I am shopping for a set of struts to match w/ sleeve coilovers. A buddy of mne put some tokico's on his civic a couple years ago and seemed to like them. Does anyone have experiance w/ the tokico's on an s14. I like the price and don't need the absolute best right now. :ylsuper

they make a huge difference over stock. the reason most people go with the kyb agx is b/c it is adjustable, so you can setup for street or track. make sure you get a nice set of springs to stiffen things up such as tiens, sportlines, or whatever you like. I was thinking of getting these first just like you, however due to some late changes I will end up going with a custom set of coilovers buy JIC more than likely.

The tokico's are very stiff. I've just installed them in my sister's 95 altima and they're noticably stiffer. Only thing though, is that after I got them, was that I then heard that alot of people have them blow at 15-20k. The KYB GR2's aren't as stiff but should last a bit longer from what I've heard, but on my other buddy's s14, the GR2's blew out before the tokico's did.

i've had tokico blues on my car since june of 99. i have over 70k on them. i've had no problems .i have ebach pros for springs.

i'm getting Kyb Gr-2's real soon, and i need to know what springs should i get. i've been hearing that the GR-2's aren't that great. some one please help me!
