What do you plan on doing with them (besides putting them on the car...)? The GR2's are a nice OE replacement, but the damping on the Tokicos are a bit more performance oriented. Either way, both would probably do nicely with some mild springs like the Eibach Pro-Kit or H&R Sport.

For what it's worth, I believe KYB says that the GR2 are the equivalent of KYB AGX's set on 2 front/4 rear or somewhere around 15-20% stiffer than stock.

Aftermarket shocks [non adjustable in the under $100 each range] tend to be just 10-15%] stiffer to make up for normal suspension bushing wear after 30,000 miles.

The Tokico blues should last 60-70,000 miles [with slow progressive decline as Nitrogen charge leaks out/seals wear] unless you use them with stiffer springs [less stroke so energy is concentrated] then exponential wear. [1" drop = 7" vs 6" or 16 x 2= 32% less stroke so they wear out twice as fast give or take depending on bumps/undulations per mile.

Adjustables are always cost effective because you can click the rebound progressively stiffer to retore as new performance evey year thus almost doubling life without labor replacement .....cost less in long run if you keep them 4 years.

What abotu this? Seems like the best deal around, since the springs and shocks are matched and it's low cost. Of course they are non-adjustable but the matching should be worth it...
