as far as "performance" i think it is up to the individual skills, why? though most pro drifters have sponsor and most runs TEIN, a few other runs JIC, but there is one guy in ATL that won D1 in atl with a GR-2+JDM springs set up(G&R/GREX/something like that), white dude, mid 20's unemployed IT(was in one of the import magazine a couple of month back). ofcourse i dont know what happened to his GR-2 after the competition but he prove that u dont need expensive stuff to work. And a GR-2+spring set up cost only 250-350, i dont think i want a set of coilovers that cost that much, come on $350 for a set???too good to be true if it existfor shocks being blown, i've read a of a lot of KYB-Eibach combo with that problem, but rarely KYB-S.tein that's because S tein are stiffer then Eibach, so i think if u r willing to sacrafice some ride quality, get some stiff springs, and if u going for AGX-set the damping to be harder, and u can't be greedy here, even with adjustable, r u going to jump out of ur car with a screw driver whenever u want to have a little fun on the street??with that said, anyone know the spring rate for Drop Zone springs, i love the idea that they are less then $100 bucks on ebay, i dont know the manufacture (its not drop zone inc. i googled it)and lastly, if u have the extra $$$ and really want coilover for the bragging right, then go ahead, but i doulbt you'll spend enough time at the track to make it worth ur while because if u r like me, u'll be working your *** off paying for it, and everything else that u need to make it fit right/work right/feel right.
