You'll need a bump stop and dust boot for each strut. These two parts are almost as expensive as the strut. I'm not sure that you can get these anywhere but the stealership or Joe.AlabamaDan wrote:So what do they come with and what will you have to buy seperately from Joe's place, i.e. dust boots, etc.
Has anyone ever looked into a less-expensive substitute? Seems like just about any boot that fits would suffice.goody94q45 wrote:You'll need a bump stop and dust boot for each strut. You're right, I have seen aftermarket boots for the Q. Pretty straight forward part. For comparison, I bought the front strut set from Joe in September 2006. Strut $88 X 2Boot $38 X 2Bump stop $17 X 2Skibane wrote:Has anyone ever looked into a less-expensive substitute? Seems like just about any boot that fits would suffice.
For 2 previous Q's.AlabamaDan wrote:Why would you buy them 2x? I thought they had a lifetime warr?
They just come with struts/shocks. Everything else you have to get from Joe or your local dealer.AlabamaDan wrote:
