toga or acl bearings

which do you perfer, i can get the toga but i have no way of getting the acl race series with calico(sp) coating

Get whatever you can get your hands on. All bearings work just fine if your lubrication system is up to par.

power enterprise makes some slick bearings for the CA but at almost 350 usd for the full set, ouch, but apparently the RB26 racers swear by them.. and CA's and RB;'s have the same bearing problelms...

you talking about the F1 black metal bearings?

oh yeah. and what's this bearing problem? some people say it's a hit and miss deal, some people make it sound like its a very common problem and yet i've never really seen many people discuss it or say exactly what the whole issue is?
