Hello Fellow Nico Dwellers! I just bought some adjustable toe control arms for my 97 240sx. Am I am now in the process of installing them. I heard that if you adjust the tow wrong, it will eat your tires in a matter of miles. Is this true ? If so does anyone know how to correctly adjust the tow setting? I'm currently running stock suspension.

idk why you'd get aftermarket toe rods if you have stock suspension?

BUT. your best bet it to take it to an alignment shop. if you try to eyeball it.. it's not going to be very accurate.

xxmarcusrxx, your sig is rather large and needs to be reduced in size.

Yes, too much - toe will chew through your tires, although probably not in a matter of miles.

You adjust the toe settings at an alignment shop unless you've the tools. But since you're asking how to adjust the toe, I'm guessing you don't. They do get expensive, and adjusting toe can change some of the other measurements. So yes, do take it to an alignment shop.

Umm... why do you need control arms to be able adjust the toe, when tie-rods already do that?

eye ball it temporarily, then go to a shop and get it aligned. In proper toe settings will cause cupping or chopping of the tire.
