OK, I got my KP technologies mirror tilit modules in yesterday... gonna install them later today. I probably won't post a vid since that would be redundant, but....

I was able to get an early release of the STRUT TOWER BAR from RACINGLINE ... (Thanks Blake... it pays to know important people)

Anywho, Blake and I will be installing our srut tower bars on Monday when they arrive at his place, and we'll take pics and let you guys know how they perform...

Big Ups to Racingline!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're ride quality won't change with the STB. It just takes the under steer and rolling affect away from the front end when it tightens the 2 struts together.

And your certainly welcome Robert. Good friends are hard to find. You get first dibs. See you Monday

Nice, cant wait for the review. Question, will the STB be more "effective" in decresing the understeer than the front endlinks? another words, will the driver feel more "grip" on the roads? how are the two different?

They will work together to decrease under steer and roll. You need to have stiffening above and below your struts to create the greatest strength. Below would be strengthening sway bars and endlinks. Above would be strengthening the strut tower bar. Of course, this is gonna increase handling performance and give a little bit tenser ride up front

ok, i installed my mirror tilt modules today... for the most part, things went smoothly...

however , I must warn you that the directions are incorrect.... the colors are mixed up for the down and up functions! Rememebr that when doing the install and reverse the up for the down and vice versa...

in other words the BLUE wire is actually the mirror DOWN output wire, not the mirror up output wire. (You'll understand when you do the install)

and the BROWN wire is actually the mirror UP output wire

Just found out the first few struts will be limited, so just ordered mine in Black

Question, in terms of intalling the struts, i heard you're suppose to jack the car up to unload the spring but not too high to prevent the tires from coming off the ground?

This is true. You jack up the car a few inches, installed the bar, then let it back down. This adds pressure and moves the structure of the car to adhere to the support of the STB.

The STB's are showing up to my house tomorrow guys. When I get home from work, Robert and I are going to install these on our cars. Will post pics and info asap

if you're talking about the Strut tower braces... I believe my first post and blake's follow up post addresses that...

if you're talking about the proper wiring for the K technologies mirror tilt module, then yes, I agree.. and I will try to have pics up as soon as I hav the time off to get back in there and take some pics..

due to KP technologies incorrect instructions (and the fact that I was medicated at the time) it took a long time to get it working properly, so it was dark by the time I finished and my custom shop was closing up!

here's a link to a wirte up on the mirror tilt module for the Altima Sedan Hybrid.. http://www.kptechnologies.com/...=1071

follow this EXCEPT for the wiring code for the up switch... he states blue/green but it is really blue/orange

NOTE, if you guys think this is too difficult to follow, I suggest you get a professional to install these for you... and NO, I will not be installing these for folks at the BBQ on Saturday.. sorry!

30 - 50 degrees. Jeeze, that's like summer over here. You get use to the cold up here in the north east. Hell, some kids around here all still going to school with their shorts. Don't they know it's cold outside?
