As long as your MAFS is at least 18" away from the compressor inlet, that is not an issue..Blown240sx wrote:The thought processes behind that is because when the MAF is so close to the Turbo it causes interference in the MAF readings. The voltage numbers will read hich since the turbo is causing turbulance in the pipe causing the ECU to dump more fuel thinking the motor is under load. The sharp bend breaks up the turbulance and gives a good reading for the MAF. Also it clears the already existing Electric fans.
If you do that, make sure you tint the everliving poo out of it.UncleBen wrote:Yessir, car goes for paint next week. 350z Pikes Peak White. Think I should do the a-pillars, c-pillars, and roof black?
You come look at this engine bay and tell me where 18 inches of piping is going to go other than the route we did.nissanfanatic wrote:

You can get a whole set of injector o-rings from http://www.deatschwerks.com for cheap. I got their 740cc's and I love them. Nothing but good things to say about them, and I do believe they are a Nico sponsor!UncleBen wrote:..I had leaky injectors all over the place but they are soon to be fixed. 3 of the 4 are done, I am waiting on Nissan to get me ONE MORE O-RING, it sucks being so close.
When you ran your pipings for your IC, did you have to cut a hole on the battery tray? (I'm positive you did but where exactly) I ask because I don't want to move my battery to the trunk. Were you able to keep your windshield washer fluid container?UncleBen wrote:Still ghetto engine bay, just give me time.
