i have the a t3/t4 turbo .50AR compressor .63AR turbine. For some reason the downpipe flange wont line up with the turbine housing. it seems to be bigger. i searched and i found that there were 2 different types of flanges used for turbos. all im asking is what can i do to make this work? get a new flange and weld it onto the downpipe? if i weld a new flange will i still be able to use the external wastegate? im afraid the wastegate flange on the downpipe wont line up correctly.

Do you mean the wastegate return pipe? The flange isn't on the DP itself.

Can you take a pic of the problem?

yes, please. a pic would help. theres all kinds of discharge flanges; more than 2 surely. i'm pretty sure you're talking about the old garet 5 bolt flange. if i'm right, then yes you can buy individual flanges either for internal (two openings) or external gated (single opening).
