t04b is just a compressor wheel and housing. We have no idea what kind of backside that turbo has on it by you calling it a t40b, so there is no way to tell you what you can do with it with the information you'v given us. The compressor is fine for a ka, but again, no idea what kind of backside is on the turbo. What flange size is the housing?

If you want to get technical with it, take off the exhaust housing and measure the turbine wheel.

Ack, jibberish to me. Not that I know alot or anything.

Just ditch it for something that we 'know' works. Try the sticky at the top of KA-T forum.

I've read the sticky many times, it doesn't answer my question.

Ive read that they're both very similar in performance.

basically i hit boost @ 2800 rpm if i do my calculations correctly.

basically can i swap the compressor and cover for a bigger 1...
