A T04B will work fine, but what do you mean by s-trim T3? Or do you mean T4?

The turbine you mention seems a bit on the large side as well. A .84 with a P-trim turbine might be a little too laggy, even for my tastes. Especially with such a low-flow compressor. If you were pushing something larger like a T66 or something, maybe.

I’m lost, were you asking if you could use a T04b as a turbine?

i have a t04b, but i dont know any specifics on it except the compressor is a .60 and the turbine does seem a little large, so i might not be much help. i dont mind the lag tho with it although i dont have much to compare it too being the only turbo car i have had. im usually spooling by about 3k rpm

this is kinda just hypathetical, but I have in my posession a T88 and what might the possibilities be of using this at maybe between 8-10?

T88? Well, for the most part, at about any flow rate with a stock KA(stock redline), you'll never even get enough flow to make it past the surge line, regardless of how much boost you run. So essentially, you would be boosting entirely to the left of the surge line. For a small displacment motor, to effectively run a turbo this big, you would need to run a huge turbine to keep it from spooling until some extremely high RPM, and make sure the motor can both breath and stay in one piece at the RPM's where this turbo could be functional. Other options would be to use a turbo along with a boost bypass. But that kind of becomes a wasted effort in that all the energy you are now using to create this boost and airflow is being thrown out of the bypass until you see higher RPM's. There are some compressor inlets designed to allow you to tuna compressor within the surge by somehow circulating air back in front of the turbo when surge occurs. It's again a wasted effort, and probably should be limited to race cars. I forget what they are called. I'm also not sure how exactly this operates. I only remember the topic being touched upon many years ago in some article I read.

maybe you could use a supercharger to spool the turbo...

The problem is that you will not want to spool the T88 turbo earlier. Otherwise you WILL get surge.
