I have a chance to get a turbonetics T04b turbo with a compressor A/R of .60 and an exhaust A/R of 1.15.

Is this to much for a KA-T?

Please help me out, I am new to turbos and I want to make the right selection.

thats a really big a/r on the turbine for a ka24de...it could work but I'd think it would be laggy.

I think the nsport kits uses a modified T04B turbo, the T04B-R. I'm not sure how much the R is modified so I can't tell you if the T04B would work.

1.15 turbine ar is too big. you want at biggest 0.82, 0.63 would be better.

What's the turbine size? The A/R is NOT the size of the turbine. It's essentially the size of the nozzle. The turbine size will have a great affect on how the turbine will respond. You can get a 1.15 A/R with at least three different T4 Turbine sizes. Measure the diameter of the part of the turbine you can see through the back and report the measurement. We can tell you the turbine size based on that.

Well, the turbo has already been sold, so I'm not sure. I was going to get an outragous deal on it, which is the only reason I was considering it. I have since decided to spend the extra money and do the turbo system the right way.

Thanks for all you guys help though.:D
