The guy tuning my car told me I should get a fpr hooked up in my setup. I have the walbro 255lph fuel pump.I have the aem ems and was wondering if this is necessary.

Wait if you dont have an FPR hooked up how the hell are you going to regulate your fuel pressure? I thought that was something that has to be done mechanicly through a vacuum source.

Wait, so an aftermarket fpr is somewhat mandatory to KA-T setups? (with a walboro 255)

No way, only reason I would replace the stock one is if your planning on running some insane numbers or if you have reson to belive yours is going bad.

Get it, geez it's not that much. I run the Nismo FPR and got it for $100 (with adapter) from the classifieds here.

An aftermarket FPR and gauge is almost as nice as having a boost gauge. Buy it, install it and be thankful.

You can get a Bosch for like 30 bucks...no gauge though. I saw some new ones on EBAY for like 5 bucks believe it or not. I'm sure shipping is like 20 bucks, but it was stainless with a gauge.
