Hey guys,

To those of you who relocated the battery to the trunk, did you use one of those kits from Heavy-Throttle or just piece it together? I would like to do it as cheap as possible and I dont give a **** what it looks like, lol. What all do I need?

Thanks!-Ian

I can make you some battery cables to any length you need and with any ends you need on them. However, i don't know how you want to mount it in the trunk and also i'd have to ship them, which would add cost. Let me know what gauge wire you want, how long and what ends and i'll price things up for you at work and let ya know.

Yup.... me too

I priced out all the stuff you would need to build your own setup and it came out to over 60 bucks even with the WalMart battery box. So I just use my WalMart box for tool storage and just broke down and bought the Summit Racing box. Comes with EVERYTHING you need to do it.

Gonna do mine in a couple of weeks when I get the motor back in. I let you know then. I'm going to try to peice it together and I expect to pay about $40 for it.
