To Those on the West Coast...(Father's Day car show)

I'm part of the planning committee and on staff for the Oregon Coast Exotic Car Show. It's a new show (3rd year) located at the Salishan Golf course and Resort 20 minutes south of Lincoln City in Oregon.1st year had 8 cars...2nd rose to 35 while in a torrential downpour...and this year we are hoping to see at least 100 vetted cars spread over 2 holes.

The star of the show is the oldest known complete Ferrari, a 1947 type 166 Along with the ubiquitous Ferraris and Lambos we will also be having an "X" class next to the exotic field this year filled with modified cars, hotrods, etc.

We are still pounding out the details of entry fees and whatnot but I can tell you anyone who can bring a "High Profile" car will get their stay at the resort comped. I had a blast last year and this year proves to be even better. Our group will be driving over from Portland if anyone feel's like driving some wicked roads on the way.I'll bump this when the time comes but just an early warning if anyone wants to enter a car or plan for it.And sorry if this post isn't allowed...but I think it should be okay if I'm not selling anything...

I had read an article about that Ferrari years ago, serial number 002C I believe. Very cool car.

I met the owner on saturday...very nice guy.Apparently he just found the thing in a friend's barn...
